Mooseheart
April 18, 2008I went to Mooseheart last weekend, and it is hard to beileve that a week has passed already! That night, April 11th will be forever etched into my heart and soul.
I met many great people that night, made some friends that will hopefully be in my life for a long time. Those people know who they are, we had a blast hanging out. It has been fun to talk since everyone has been home.
The Chapman's and Dog's amazing fan's helped raise a lot of money for a lot of deserving children. It was great to get to see some of those children that I was fortunate enough to help out. It might not have been a lot, but I am happy to have had the oppertunity. It was very rewarding to have had the chance to see some of the kids from Mooseheart School having the times of thier lives. It was great! An expierence I will never forget.
Leland and I had a conversation about Hawaii, I was in Hawaii in Feb. I wanted to swim with the Dolphine while I was thier, but did not have much time since we were on the cruise ship for 9 of the 11 days. But Leland told me he knows of a place where we could have done it for free. Hopefullly one day he can tell me where that place is.
Lyssa and I did not get much time to talk, but it was great. One person said we looked like sisters with our blonde hair. So I had to make a joke about blondes do have more fun. No offense I hope to Baby Lyssa. I love to joke around, but mean no harm.
Did not get much time with Dog and Beth either. They all loved my pic from me outside thier office. Dog and Beth thankes me for coming out. Thank you Dog and Beth, Leleand, and Baby Lyssa. The short time I had with you all was great, and fufilling. It was great, and a long time coming. I have waited four long years!
2007 was a bad year, ended on a really bad note. With my Grandmother passing away on Dec. 7, on my cousins b-day. I know Grandma is in a better place, and not suffering anymore from her last stroke. But we burried her on my oldest neices b-day on Dec. 13. So 2008 has been the greatest year. With a magnificent 11 day vacation in Hawaii, My mom finally getting better, after being sick for 2 months and not knowing what was wrong. As well as being in and out of the hosptial. Then tojust top it all off meeting the Chapmans! One truly amazing family!
